American Society of Retina Specialists Recognizes CEI Ophthalmologist

The American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) today honored Daniel Miller, M.D., Ph.D., with a 2018 Honor Award for his contributions to the study and treatment of retinal diseases.

Dr. Miller is the medical director of CEI and has an extensive background in basic and clinical research, and specializes in all medical and surgical retinal diseases including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, vascular diseases of the retina, uveitis, histoplasmosis, vitreoretinal interface abnormalities such as epiretinal membrane and macular hole, retinal detachment, ocular trauma, and complications of anterior segment surgery.

The ASRS annual meeting is being held July 20 through July 25 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The meeting attracts specialists from around the world, and offers a strong clinical focus on advanced surgical management.
