Study: Social Circles Influence When Seniors Get Cataract Surgery

An article recently published in JAMA Ophthalmology introduces a study showing senior citizens who have a smaller family support network are less likely to get cataract surgery. The study notes that adult children have more influence over an older person’s decision to have cataract surgery.
